Medizinstudium in Graz, Ausbildung zum praktischen Arzt am Krankenhaus der Barmherzigen Schwestern in Linz, anschließend Ausbildung zum Facharzt für Urologie bei Prim. Dr. Andreas Schorn.
Seit 1995 Stellvertreter des Leiters des Departments, später Primariats für Kinderurologie Prim. Univ. Doz. Dr. Marcus Riccabona an KH der Barmh. Schwestern in Linz (Stellvertretender Leiter des Departments für Kinderurologie bis 2001).
Nach zahlreichen Auslandsaufenthalten und dem Wechsel an die Universitätsklinik nach Innsbruck 2012 (Vorstand: Univ Prof. Dr. G. Bartsch) erfolgt die Habilitation mit dem Thema „Pathophysiology and microanatomy of the fetal and refluxing ureterovesical junction – reducing the comorbidity of the infant vesicoureteral reflux disease“ am 26.04.2004 (Lehrbefugnis als Universitätsdozent für Urologie, Medizinische Universität Innsbruck).
2005 erfolgte die Anerkennung zum Fellow oft the European Academy of Paediatric Urology (FEAPU).
Stellvertretender Leiter der Abteilung für Kinderurologie an der Universitätsklinik für Urologie (Leiter: Univ. Prof. Dr. Ch. Radmayr), bzw. stationsführender Oberarzt der Kinderurologie an der Abteilung für Urologie (Vorstand: Univ. Prof. Dr. W. Horninger).
Von 2004 bis 2019 Leitung des Arbeitskreises für Kinderurologie der österreichischen Gesellschaft für Urologie (ÖGU). Okt. 2012 Übernahme des Primariats der Abteilung für Kinderurologie am Krankenhaus der Barmh. Schwestern, Linz.
